Welcome to the Project Unknown collection. This is an online exhibition that offers a look at an imagined catalogue behind eight objects within the UCL Museums & Collections Repository.
Each of these digitally represented objects are in some way classified as ‘unknown’.
The aim of this exhibiition is to share information on some of the challenges curators face when it comes to classifying items we do not have enough information on to claim substantive knowledge about.
